Our Customer Committee

Meet our committee that is made up of 12 customers from a range of backgrounds, professions and talents – and will sit alongside our board in how it is governed.

Dawn Reynolds-Smith

Mindfulness is amazing for our health and well being. It has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and increase calm and well being. It can change the shape of your brain and improve focus. Consequently helping you to have more control over your thoughts. Resulting in lower blood pressure, lower anxiety levels and an increase in quality of life. Join Dawn who is an Adult Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of previous experience in the NHS as she talks about mental health/resilience and mindfulness.

Join Dawn for our live Q&A on Friday, 16th September at 3.30pm.

Jim Battle - Chair of the Board

Interview with our Customer Committee

For National Customer Services Week, our newly appointed chair of the board, Jim Battle held a socially distanced interview with two of our Customer Committee members, Cynthia and Keri. Our Customer Committee, which is made up of ten residents and two board members, began back in January with the aim of giving tenants a real voice by allowing them unfettered access to scrutinise the organisation. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the customer committee has had to do much of its meetings online via Zoom but have still been able to achieve tremendous work in the short nine months that they have been working together.
